Step 1
Unrar HLDSUpdateTool and install it. In this tutorial we will install it to the default directory (C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer).

Step 2
Start > Run > Type CMD. After your command prompt opens type the following.

	Code:
	cd C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer

Afterwards the directory should change to the new one. Then type

	Code:
	HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game "Counter-Strike Source" -dir .

INLUDE THE PERIOD!

Step 3
HLDSUpdateTool should now download the files. After all the files have been downloaded and it says "HLDSUpdateTool has been fully updated" or something like this then your server is installed. However it requires non-steam access.

Step 4
Unrar scrds.rar. Replace the files with the ones in the [C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer] directory. If it asks you to replace say yes.

Step 5
Server is now cracked and will work online. It now requires activation. Right click on scrds.exe and confecționate a shorcut.

Open the shortcut and in the target path add:

	Code:
	-game cstrike

It should now look like:

	Code:
	"C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\srcds.exe" -game cstrike

Hit apply, and run the shortcut.

This is the GUI version, this requires less console commands but might lag you a bit more

If you wish to use the console version which is DOS and is less laggier than the GUI repeat steps 1-4. Afterwards, făcute a shortcut and change the target to this.

	Code:
	"C:\Program Files\Valve\HLServer\srcds.exe" -console -game cstrike
